#kitten i'll luv ya forever
#i myself just don't know why people get so up-in-arms about stuff like this
#but i'm very accepting of a lot of things
i have never been so fucking mad at the comic loki fandom before today
the fucking comic isn’t even out yet. stop making people feel fucking horrible for being excited that their sexuality is going to get some real representation from a character that has a massive fucking fan base
really not amused MY sexuality is being used in a really exploitative way by a writer who far has shown no understanding of the two characters I happen to love best
I want representation that’s thoughtful and that makes sense, not some arbitrary attribution to a character who’s never shown any inclination of it in the past in a book that the author has so far made out to be nothing but fanon pandering and objectification. I want Loki to be written well and be the fucking Loki I love so much in the comics.
So yes, I am going to side eye the fuck out of Ewing and this book and no fucking way am I going to support it until he’s shown he can actually do that
Well it’s MY sexuality too. We don’t know how it’s being handled yet and everyone is throwing a shitfest! People change. Sexuality changes. It is not a set in stone things. It may be pandering, it may not. WE DON’T KNOW
And I’m really fucking sick of people I consider friends pretty much telling me I’m WRONG for being excited that MY sexuality is being represented by my favorite character. How dare you make me feel disgusting for being happy.
This is the last I’m saying on the topic.
The World Tree : Yggdrasil
Felt like doing something more finished after all those sketches so I painted a tree and surreptitiously inserted some Loki. Dats how I roll, just insert fanart everywhere. Those little shits are SO GONNA GET GROUNDED when they get back home.
I’m sorry I became one of those artists who put their ugly url on pictures; I was getting tired of people reposting and chopping off my signature sighhh.
"As there is no indication of any temporal or spatial shift between these two stanzas [where Thor discovers Mjollnir is missing and speaks to Loki], the lay’s structural logic purports that Þórr and Loki were sleeping in the same quarters the previous night. Þórr’s address… even hints that Loki was not particularly attentive when Þórr grabbed for his hammer. We can imagine (imagine indeed!) that Þórr needs to awaken his partner to inform him about the latest developments… In view of Þórr’s later concern about being called “argr” [homosexual], it is conceivable thathe loses his masculine identity because he spends a night with Loki, who is notorious for wavering sexual preferences. Their union, then, becomes public … when the thunder god is dressed up as a woman and Loki volunteers to join him as a bond-maid."
#nothing like a lil' boning between gods
#this is great

AKA, that time in Þrymskviða where context heavily implies that Thor and Loki had something going on the night Thor loses Mjollnir. And by something I mean they had sex. The gods, they are queer! I love that this is relevant - central, even! - to my thesis.
